DFPS Foster Care Redesign Update
These recommendations were to be made within two parameters: the redesigned system could not require nor preclude additional funding and the redesigned system could not include transfer of case management responsibilities. Specifically, we were to address the following objectives:

Where and what kind of services were needed
The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services has updated its Foster Care Redesign website and posted a 12/13/10 letter from the Public Private Partnership to DFPS Commissioner Heiligenstein.

What I don't understand is why didn't they just help the mother get and keep a home for her children? I guess they wouldn't make any money from doing that. Maybe this is how TX made more money on Adoption's, than any other State in the U. S. this year.

It is safe to say, Crystal Spillers has her hands full. "We have a very big family and family is the most significant thing in life." And Saturday the Spillers family got a little bigger.
