Before I tell the story of my nightmare with CPS-- I must say that my appeal was unsuccessful. I recently received the mandate from the so called Washington State Appellate Court that my case has been completely closed and denied. Never mind the fact that my appellate attorneys repeatedly informed me throughout the appellate process that I had a "strong case". Never mind also the fact that they informed me repeatedly that they believed I was railroaded by CPS and family court. Never mind also the fact that my appellate attorneys informed me that-- if CPS can take your baby for the reasons it asserted, it seems that they can take any child for any reason. The Appellate Courts are as unjust as the 'trial courts' in this nation. I mock the term trial courts because it is more appropriate to refer to them as kangaroo courts... considering the lack of due process and justice for families.

So I've never really talk much about my personal life on this blog. There are a million reasons for that, and the time will come when I divulge the story of how Child Protective Services and the Foster Care system destroyed my step son who I met for the first time in my life a few prior to starting this blog, and how they tried like hell to get their hooks into my two daughters. (so I actually married into the CPS bullshit, but can't tell that story til he is 18.)
But I did something late last night. And I need to share in hopes of I don't know what. I'm not expecting you all to understand what I feel right now.
With all of these stories coming out about parents finding their kids on Facebook, late last night I put this theory to the test.
Sure enough, I found my two sons. I haven't seen them or had any word about them since 1996.
I haven't contacted them yet, but there is no mistake. I fully intend to. Now that they're over 18, there isn't a fucking thing that their mother can do about it. And I'm assuming that they're victims of Parental Alienation Syndrome, as they were turned against me at a very young age by a very vindictive ex wife who learned very quickly how to manipulate the system.
I just gotta figure out what to say. I mean, honestly
I'm only human, you know.
Here are a couple pictures from one of the last times I saw them.
So what do you say to a kid who you haven't seen in 14 years? Who probably doesn't remember you. Who has heard god only knows what.

An international children's rights charity has said it has evidence that Palestinian children held in Israeli custody have been subjected to sexual abuse in an effort to extract confessions from them.
The Geneva-based Defence for Children International (DCI) has collected 100 sworn affadavits from Palestinian children who said they were mistreated by their Israeli captors.
Fourteen of the statements say they were sexually abused or threatened with sexual assault to pressure them into confessions.
Al Jazeera's Nour Odeh met with one of the children, identified only as N, who says he suffered sexual abuse at the hands of his interrogators.

The California Department of Social Services and the Yurok Tribe announced a child welfare agreement Wednesday that allows the Yurok Tribe to draw down federal funding to provide child welfare services to tribal members.

"We need a normal system of childhood protection in the most accurate sense of this word. Today there is no such system in the country, and these deplorable figures prove this," Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said in Mach last year. But as we see situation didn't change.
The president said the authorities had detected 100,000 problem families a year in Russia.
"Children, growing up in such families, permanently join in the ranks of waifs...and become crime victims or often commit crimes themselves," he said.
In order to prevent domestic violence, the Ministry of Internal Affairs is creating a new position: a police family inspector. For now the new position has been filled on a trial basis in five regions. This inspector would take control of troubled families. Authorities are dissatisfied with the fact that they only learn of such problems after a child has been beaten or killed.
In accordance with the family code, any specialist working with children (doctors, school or kindergarten teachers) who learns that a child has suffered abuse, must immediately notify authorities, explained Alexei Golovan, Childrens Rights Commissioner for Moscow. In the West this notification system works well: at the smallest suspicion, doctors and teachers inform authorities. Here the alarm is usually raised by neighbors, friends, or relatives. We often come across neglected cases. We start to investigate, and we discover that the school knew, the clinic knew, but they did not take any steps to notify authorities, even though they were legally obligated to. And all because they dont have anything to lose by not caring about the childs fate. And this will continue until we start holding people responsible for failing to report such incidents.
Institutions are required to react to reports within three days, and immediately if the case is serious. Additionally, police departments now have a childrens affairs division, Golovan continued. If a child is in need of urgent help, police officers must immediately, like firefighters, arrive at the location and do whatever necessary to protect the childs interests. For instance, taking the child away from the family and taking him or her to a hospital or orphanage, then passing this information on to the appropriate authorities, who will take care of the situation.
According to Golovan, many countries have special telephone numbers which people can call who are worried about how a child is being treated. Or a child can call the number himself, and he will be given not only psychological assistance, but government organizations responsible for his protection will take action. In Russia there is no such service yet, but it is still possible to find justice for the children of negligent parents. Complaints can be made to the police, or to any teacher. In Moscow there were even instances of children coming to an orphanage for protection, said Golovan. Of course, in such cases the orphanage is required to take in the child.

How to Contact Your Stolen Children Later In Life
A recent article originally published on the biased and comment censoring guardian.co.uk, entitled Adopted children face anguish as birth parents stalk them on Facebook has irritated the family rights people in England. And rightfully so.
In this obvious example of parent bashing, the Guardian tells us that...
Now although this article was obviously written based on the generous information provided by system sucks such as the good old folks over at the adoption agency, one could simply look at it another way.
And so, how do you contact your stolen children later in life? All you have to do is a search on Facebook. Of course it's not 100%, and there is no guarantee that they will want contact, but in many cases, they do.
So let the adoptive parents of your stolen children piss and moan. Let the guardian.co.uk post it's biased and parent bashing bullshit. Here is a new tool, at your disposal.

With reference to the article that was highlighted in today's Guardian newspaper portraying adoption and social networking sites and parents trying to find information about their children, i am very concerned that these anguished parents have been highlighted in a negative manner, as well as Parents Against Injustice, a National Organization, that is well respected within Parliament.
I spent quite a lot of time e-mailing PAIN clients, with regards to this issue, to take part in this cause and am very disappointed with the outcome of today's report in the Guardian.
Many of these Parents have suffered miscarriages of Justice and forced adoption, by the unfairness of the secret family courts and this article, just adds to their misery. Many of my clients have been vindicated by the courts and Social Services, but have had their children wrongly taken into care. In this case he has had his name vindicated by the family court, and Social Services.

For their culminating project for the year, gifted and talented elementary students from across the county came up with the idea to make care kits for children who enter foster care.
About 150 students from the fourth, fifth and sixth grades at Elgin, Ridgedale, River Valley and Pleasant schools contributed to the project, collecting donations of hygienic care products and toys for all ages of children who might need to be taken into care.
Note: Now every time I come across an article like this and post it without an explanation, some System Suck gets her panties in a bunch, sends me a comment or an email asking how is it that I could have a problem with such a thing as this. So for the benefit of the easily misled and intellectually challenged, I will give an explanation.
I have no problem with students working on a project with the purpose of helping others such as foster children. It shows caring and compassion and teaches the value of giving. What I have a problem with is that these people are filling these kids heads with so much bullshit that they're actually going to believe that kids are stolen to protect them from abuse or neglect.
And if you believe that, I got some swampland in Florida to sell ya.
I highly doubt they considered what it's like to be all doped up on psyche meds in a group home where every time you express your dislike for your situation you are wrestled to the ground by big burly staff members and restrained into compliance. I highly doubt they were taught about the kids who were bounced from home to home or given to pedophiles who use the system to gain easy access to children. I doubt they thought about what it's like to be ripped from their mothers arms while the police are holding them back while she screams, "No don't take my baby!!!"
