Custody battle over dog wastes court's time
There are many good reasons for going to court. A separated couple fighting over the family dog is not among them.
This according to a decision handed down earlier this month by Justice Ted Zarzeczny of the Court of Queen's Bench in Regina.
Ted, you obviously had a shallow childhood without the love of a pet. When parents divorce a child having his pet would make the adjustment smoother. A dog is not only "property", but an emotional anchor for children.
