A Boy's Story
I would like to tell you a story. It is a story of a little boy just old enough to remember things.
This little boy was taken away from his parents when he was 4 years old and taken to live in an orphanage. He was the youngest child in a group of 60-70 children, all living in this orphanage.
I am the author of the story. This happened in the late 50s and throughout the 60s.
ReplyDeleteI left out many things in my story. Things that I haven't told anyone, even my wife. These things continue to haunt me.
As I was growing up, I vowed to myself that I would not expose a child that I fathered to even a remote possibility of a life like I had, so I do not have any children. This has probably denied me many joys in life.
