The Family Under Attack - Does the State Own YOUR Children?
Why the ongoing imprisonment of FLDS (Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints) children in Texas should serve as a warning to every family in America.
Note: Because the mom's did nothing wrong.
I don't think ANYONE should "own" children....but what an appropriate term. Like God, they can change lives at the click of a pen, but unlike God, they are often malevolent and vindictive
ReplyDeleteI clearly saw the need for the women and young women to be at the very least checked on.
ReplyDeleteBut once the state had moved in I disagreed with the removal of all the children.
The moms and kids shouldve stayed together while this was being investigated.
After all, the polygamist sect is run by the men and these women and children have a right to decide and not be forced into a marriage with someone twice their age.
I look at this case in the same way as the domestic violence cases.
Mom is not the abuser - why take the child away from her? It's the same with the kids in texas. They were not abused directly by their mothers and shouldve been allowed to stay with them.
This case is a warning to every women involved in any activity that draws governmental attention.
The state can and will punish you and your children for no good reason at all except to make their bounty.
