Judge blocks cuts to foster care
The Indiana Department of Child Services planned to cut subsidies in January to foster and adoptive parents. DCS also planned to reduce funding to residential treatment centers that help provide for kids in state custody.
Note: That money could be much better spent on family preservation services.
