Social worker jailed by Ky. judge

Social worker jailed by Ky. judge

Faced with conflicting court appearances on the same day in late June, state social worker Aaron Jackson said he followed a supervisor's directive to attend family court in Jefferson County and notify Bullitt County court officials that he'd miss a child-welfare hearing there.

  1. I applaud the Judge, for taking a stand against incompetence, and shoddy practice, with regards to this Social Worker being jailed.
There is no excuse for not attending Court, except for illness, and other exceptional circumstances.
This is a warning for other Professionals.

If you knew thi sjudge, you would NOT be applauding. She would be the first to remove a child without just cause and devoid of investigation. This worker is a very compassionate social worker, who, if you were faced with losing your children, you would be happy to have advocating for you and your children.

Alison, if you had read the article before spouting your opinion, you would see that Mr. Jackson was scheduled for court at the exact same time in two different counties. Can YOU be in two places at the exact same time? It didn't have anything to do with "incompetence", the word to use is "impossible".
