Bureaucrat defends child protection workers
A senior Tasmanian bureaucrat has told a parliamentary committee that recent adverse incidents in child protection were extremely regrettable.
Note: Yes they are.
The Department of Human Services' deputy secretary Alison Jacobs, said the incidents were only a small proportion of the number of cases dealt with by the service.,
Note: They still suck.
