Stimulus funds to assist Child Protection Services
Ohio Attorney General Richard Cordray announced Friday victim service programs in 21 counties will receive a portion of $1.2 million designated to assist them in meeting the needs of crime victims.

In Ross County, Child Protection Services was awarded $26,221. Agency Executive Director Julie Oates said the money will allow them to increase services in such areas as providing counseling to victims.
"We are going to be able to increase the hours of the staff because of the stimulus money," she said.
