Child Abuse Reports Rise As Parents Hunt For Jobs
Job seekers aren't the only ones feeling the effects of this economy. Their children are too.
The numbers from Sherburne County, Minnesota's Social Services Agency are dramatic. In 2007, social workers got 1,076 reports of possible child abuse at homes in the county. In 2008, there were 1,270 reports, and that number and other disturbing ones show no signs of going down this year.
Note: Some people should just learn to mind their own business.
