Embattled Hempstead chief investigator to keep working
Hempstead Town's chief investigator, Robert Zafonte, who was arrested Wednesday on charges he made false accusations of child abuse and other offenses against six people, will keep his $115,858 salary for now. But his job will change: Instead of conducting investigations, he'll be filing reports in the town attorney's office, town officials said.

It is about time, these persons were made accountable for their shoddy practice,and have their fat cat Salary,and employment terminated forthwith.
The people that have been wrongly labelled, will carry this burden, for the rest of their lives.
