Jersey police chief suspended amid child abuse probe row
Jersey's chief of police was suspended on Wednesday as a row over an investigation into alleged child abuse erupted between the past and present officers leading the probe.
Graham Power, the Channel Island's most senior officer, told BBC radio he had been suspended pending an inquiry into his handling of the case.

The new policeman in charge of the Jersey child abuse probe has dismissed suggestions that children were murdered or tortured at the Haut de la Garenne former care home as he revealed that "human remains" found there was almost all animal bones.
