This Holiday Season, Remember Children In Foster Care
As the holidays approach, we busily prepare and eagerly look forward to celebrating and gathering as a family. As we give thanks for our blessings this Thanksgiving, let us remember the thousands of children in foster care who dream of celebrating this cherished holiday with families of their own.
Note: Notice, they say "families of their own," we say, "Their own families." I guess it's in how things are worded.

Uprooted: For foster kids, holidays can be wistful
But the holidays are here, and with them comes a time that can be difficult for even the best-adjusted foster children. Even for those who come from the worst situations, it's still easy to miss familiar surroundings.
