Damning report condemns DOCS

Damning report condemns DOCS

IT IS far too easy to find examples of the impact NSW's unworkable system of mandatory reporting is having on those in need of help from Department of Community Services.

Justice James Wood's report into child protection services is littered with chilling cases of abuse and neglect that have gone unattended because case workers are unable to manage their massive workloads under the flood reports coming into the DOCS help line.

Note: Thanks and Kudos to the person who's been sending these.

    Thanks for the kudos!
    Its nice to be acknowledged
Here's an interesting report that shows that the Ombudsman (useless and collusive as it is) had prepared in 2002.

The issues have been well known and covered up for years!

I should also point out that there are a LOT more child deaths than are reported in the Child Death Reviews.

Any child in NSW that dies as a direct result of the ineptitude of the NSW State Labor Govt, and is in their toxic alleged "care" is completely ignored and forgotten.

There is, according to an Ombudsman's senior staff member, "an average of between 25 and 50 deaths per year". Yet none of these children rate a mention as the entire culture of corruption, collusion and document tampering that exists is not on the NSW State Labor govt's agenda.

    I WILL keep you posted!

Here's an interesting page from the NSW publicly funded Wood Inquiry that suppressed 600+ submissions from the public.
    4 January 2007
The Inquiry welcomes submissions from all interested persons and agencies. Anonymous submissions may be made. The Inquiry will not make public any submission or part of any submission if its author wishes it to remain confidential. If you wish all or any part of your submission to be confidential, please make that clear.

Wouldn't you say that this gives the decided impression that unless otherwise stated the submission will be published?

    Isn't this misleading?
