Girls ordered to spend weekends with sex offender father
A COURT has ordered two young girls to spend weekends with their sex offender father provided he puts a door on their bedroom that they can lock.
Judge Robert Benjamin, in the Family Court's Hobart branch, ruled that the girls "need some protection from (their father), particularly at night".
However, the risk of sexual abuse was "diminished when they are awake and alert".
GOOD for the judge, at least this judge has the back bone to stand up and protect what is left of our constitution and he has the foresight to see these laws for what they are....a forum for politicains to get re-elected and a huge sorce for the press to sell there garbage to the public
ReplyDeleteI am the mother of 2 children and the same judge ordered my daughter to be given to the man, her father who abused her from the time she was born. The ramifications were and are that she was deprived of me, her mother, and her social network and the abuse was sancioned by the court and lawyers.
ReplyDeleteShe wqas dumped on the streets at age 15 and as the judge refused me contact, we had no way of getting together.
As she had been groomed to think that no one cared about her and that sex with her father, her fathers friends and relations, was 'normal, and she was constantly called a 'slut' a 'stupid fat ugly child that no one will believe', her self esteem is very low. A counsellor told her that the abuse has, 'made her the woman she is' (Aged 16) and that she should not regret it having happened.
She was told that I was dead and that I didnt love her. It isnt just the sexual abuse, its the disgusting talk that abusers do, and my children dont trust people in authority. My daughter had to get food from srealing from lunchboxes because she was also starved and presented to a hospital by her abusers who claimed she had anorexia. They wouldnt give her food, which was thereal reason for her thiness.
The 'hired gun' court experts would only see her with her abuser, and refused to see her with me. She told sexual assault counsellor but her evidence was twisted and her character defamed so that the abuser could look good.
One judge said about my daughters fathers violence to me, 'perhaps he had a bad day'
My daughter has been unbable to keep a job (She was forced to leave school early) and unbale to keep emplyment. She picked an abusive man to keep her and he too dumped her. She is alone, without a means to support herself or get accomodation and has relationship problems on a massive scale. As she is pretty she is the prey of abusers who want to use her and she is tattoing herself thinking this will help her body image.
She suffers greatly. My ex said he would finacilly break me via the court and he did so.
Men who abuse children can easily get residence with the aid of a lawyer and as I had no lawyer, we stood buckleys chance of safety.
The authorities runied our lives, we lived in fear year in and year out and the case went on year after year as the abuser said that the lawyers would keep it running to exhaust us.
My ex wasnt even investigated by the police as he said he had made friend with them. His brother is a police officer and a child protection worker said to me that 'money is involved, and we dont do anything because it saves the department money'.
My daughter and son were seized from me. (My son was not this mans child, he wanted to shut my son up and my son had no say hewas 13 when they took him). Fortunately my ex dumped my son so I got him back and he then told the court he hadnt wanted him after all. He also got other kids into his care, then he would dump those kids. He said that the judge would do whatever he wanted and the judge indeed did so we would know bwforehand the outcome.
Its a tragedy for my most beloved child because after being used as a child prositute since a little child, she has noone batting for her and it seems to me that to protect abusers is so wrong that their is something wrong in a society that does nothing about it in real terms. It isnt a real debate because the children are abused while it goes on. Judges ought to be accountable.
