Caseworkers Lie on Reports, Lose Foster Kids
Seventy caseworkers hired by the Department of Children and Families to keep track of foster kids lied about monthly visits. Some kids went six months without seeing a caseworker. The caseworkers have been fired and DCF is hoping a new GPS system will help keep better track of who is skipping visits.
which is exactly why they wont turn over case files to parents.
ReplyDeleteOMG, is this true? Social/case workers lie and lose kids? Who woulda thunk it! Haven't we been telling America that for years now? I mean how many kids have to get lost in the system before someone takes notice and actually does something about it? I don't understand what they do with all their time. Oh yeah I do. They're too busy removing children from safe homes to have adopted out so they can make more and more money. What's a few lost kids when compared to all that dough they're making? These are probably just children they see as throw-aways anyway. They won't bring in much on the adoption market so they don't keep up with them. However, I bet their REAL parents would know!
ReplyDeleteRemove the gag and forced anonymity from parents involved in family court proceedings.
ReplyDelete2: Forbid judges in the family courts to imprison any parent without a public hearing.
3: Abolish "risk" as a reason to remove children from a sane parent unless in addition to risk it can be clearly shown and proved that such children have already suffered significant physical harm.
4: Any parents facing the possibility that their children could be removed for long term fostering or adoption without parental consent should have the right to demand that the final decision be made by a jury not a judge.Better still abolish forced adoption altogether!
