Your Turn: Loss of CPS workers hurts kids
It has been a sad time for children across Arizona. With the recent layoffs at Child Protective Services ("112 caseworkers laid off at CPS," Arizona Republic, March 10) our economy took a toll on the safety and health of thousands of innocent children right here in Arizona. It could not have come at a worse time - when the need for specialists' services is rising by the day.
Personally, I thought that Arizona laying off 112 caseworkers was a pretty good start.
Its about time Social Workers, were made accountable for their Malpractice, within the UK,and have their contracts terminated for shoddy practice.
