Is program for addicted moms at risk?
A pilot program that helps Kansas mothers with substance abuse problems deliver drug-free babies could be at risk even as it prepares to launch statewide, its local coordinators say.

They also worry that women won't cooperate with the new agency overseeing the program, because it contracts with the Kansas Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services, which has the power to remove children from their homes.
