Dead boy, siblings in and out of foster care
The siblings of a Kershaw County boy who police say was killed by his brother have been in foster care twice since 2001 because of conditions at home, officials said.
State Social Services officials outlined the episodes Wednesday as prosecutors said the 13-year-old boy accused of shooting Gayloyd Roberts will undergo evaluation at a juvenile facility, where he is being held.
