Nebraska safe-haven cases rise to 27
Nebraska officials say a 15-year-old girl dropped off at a hospital is the 27th child left under Nebraska's safe-haven law.
----
The Nebraska Legislature has called a special session next week to consider revising the safe-haven law, and most legislators have already agreed to set an age limit of 3 days. The National Safe Haven Alliance has called for a standard age limit for all states.
Note: I don't get it, what are they complaining about? I guess kids being handed to them on a silver platter must take all of the sport out of it.
