Senate Bill Would Make Camp Directors Mandated Reporters

The New York State Senate had passed a bill which would add Camp Directors to the list of “mandated reporters” who are required under the Social Services Law to report suspected child abuse, regardless of where the abuse may have occurred. The legislation (S.3777A) was sponsored by Senator Jack Martins (R-C-I, Mineola). There is currently no companion bill in the NYS Assembly.
