After 18, Foster Kids Face Tough Road Ahead

After 18, Foster Kids Face Tough Road Ahead

New research shows that less that half of former foster youth are employed at 23, and only six percent have finished college. Mark Courtney, research and development director at Partners For Our Children, and Jeremy Long, who aged out of foster care three years ago at 18, talk about the challenges facing foster kids as they grow up.

Note: You know it's interesting that this study comes out during Child Abuse Propaganda Month, documenting the failures to the ultimate victims of the Child Protective Industry.

This is the month when CPS promotes all of its community outreach programs and public relations brainwashing campaigns. When they stick pinwheels in the ground and drink milk and eat cookies in honor of that which keeps the cash flowing to the system sucks. When they publicly glorify all of those who steal and fail your children as heroes in the fight against child abuse, and demonize the parents who become victims due to their poverty, job losses, inability to pull thousands upon thousands of dollars out of your ass to hire the best lawyers, who would simply suck you dry anyway!

Well I'm here to show you that these people suck! And it's high time somebody calls them out on their bullshit. Because while they stand around shining their halo's, you all suffer and your kids are being destroyed. They'll all tell ya that they're helping abused and neglected children, and I'm here to tell ya that their all full of shit and need to learn to mind their own business because with failures like this they shouldn't be out celebrating themselves and trying to convince more and more people to rat out their friends and neighbors!

It should be blatantly obvious that Child Protective Services and the Foster Care system is not the solution to child abuse. I don't know what is, in fact there probably isn't one. However, very few of these kids come out of it with their heads screwed on straight, some experience even more abuse in foster care. Very few are better off when these people become involved. The ones who do succeed are celebrated, the ones who don't will be shoved through the cracks.
