Misusing child welfare grants is a crime
A number of parents and guardians have been accused of abusing the monthly child welfare grants issued by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Child Welfare. Parents or guardians have been accused of spending these grants for their own personal gratification resulting in the money not reaching the intended benefeciaries
