Foster Kids Become Models for Miami Heart Gallery
Sunday afternoon though, Quisqueya took part in a very special photo shoot, featuring 44 different foster kids, looking for permanent parents. The pictures and their recorded interviews will be part of the Miami Heart Gallery exhibit at the Historical Museum of Southern Florida starting in June.
Note: I'll just bet that lots of ignorant people actually believe that all of these loving and caring SYSTEM SUCKS are working with the children's best interest at heart. "We just want these kids to have families who love them." Ah yes... I call it the, "Dreams of Forever Homes Myth."
Well allow me to call them on their bullshit for all of the wonderful people who haven't quite developed a keen grasp of the obvious yet. Because most of these kids do have people who love them and want them and fight for them only to loose in the end so some social worker can get a notch on her belt and small groups of System Sucks can benefit from all the subsidies and bonus money. Yes folks, there are kinship options such as grandparents out there who were never given a chance. There are parents out there who jump through hoop after hoop after hoop only to have their rights terminated so that they can put the kid on display on the Showroom Floor of the Adoption Industry. It's what's best, doncha know.
You see, they don't care about these kids one bit. Nope. If they did, they'd realize that most of these kids have real family members who love them. Articles like this fail to mention this little fact and promote it as a festival of kind hearted people who care so much about these poor poor abused and neglected children, that they work effortlessly to make these kids dreams come true by helping them to find a forever home. Bullshit!
They're doing this for the money, plain and simple. After all, there are rewards for getting these kids adopted. There are consequences for allowing them to age out of the system with nobody. It just never ceases to amaze me as to how they leave out facts like many of these kids have family members who love and want them and fought for them, and some continue to fight for them to this day. Yet the kids will never know because the social workers lie to them too.
Articles like this also teach the sheep that all of these wonderful children sit around desperately hoping and preying for a forever home to make their dreams come true. And I'm sure if you asked any foster child what would make their lives complete, and they'll tell ya getting adopted, right?
What do you think these kids are all like Penny from Disney's "The Rescuers?" Wake the fuck up America and the rest of the world! This is the plight of truest victims of the Child Protective Industry. To be put on display in some desperate attempt at a financially beneficial and ill-perceived positive outcome.
I'm sure that none of these kids have any thoughts or hopes about someday being with their real families again.
Bullshit.
