Stories of abuse and redemption
Sunday, Jan. 25, is the date of a Times-Union editorial supporting a full investigation into allegations of beatings and abuse at the Arthur G. Dozier School for Boys in Marianna in the late 1950s and early 1960s.
Roger Dean Kiser, who was transferred from a Jacksonville orphanage to the Marianna facility, has written a new book on his experiences. The title is The White House Boys: An American tragedy.
