How to Buy a Child in 10 Hours

How to Buy a Child in 10 Hours

This deeply unsettling experiment starts on a typical Monday morning on Manhattan's leafy Upper West Side, where commuters stroll by Starbucks and Central Park.

At 7:10 a.m., I'm off to see how long it takes to buy a child slave.

  1. Hi
I have this link on my page to.

Thanks for your post to my site. I thought I share my response with your audience. Ignorance is said to be bliss, but KNOWLEDGE is what sets people free... free to make a difference.
Thanks for your comment. As I welcome all. NO i'm not a voice for the adoption industry that I know exhists. Obviously you did not read my blog on why I chose to become a voice for these children. For the records I am not using an agency. I'm adopting directly through a village which I have visited and is one of the few legit organizations in Haiti that is working for the benefit of the chilren. There are always going to be those people who try and profit off the hurting and helpless. I pray they all be uncovered, but to cut all adoptions off under the guise of "baby-buying" would leave thousands of babies dying in Haiti. Haven't you seen the pictures on my site of the hundreds in one morgue alone? I am a director for a Women's and Children's shelter. My heart is for the hurting. I am a homeschooling mom, not because of educational reasos but because I don't trust ANYONE with my kids. NO ONE! So yes, thanks for your honest question, BUT NO I am not a voice for any industry. I AM a VOICE for LIFE. People who are trying to protect children should ban together and not judge one anothers efforts to protect children. I am VERY fertile and I can have plenty of kids. I'm adopting to fullfill a need in my life. I'm adopting to save two lives. My daughters mother is dead and my son's mother came over and over again to the village begging them to take her son or she feared he would die in the state they were living in. I am not adopting from an orphanage. It is a women's village. The women are taken off the streets and given shelter and some occupational skills, some become nanny's to the kids being adopted in the village. There they learn nurturing and how to care for their own people and then can go back into society healthy and whole.
Thanks for allowing me to state my side.
    Respectfully,
    Emma
