Former Arizona CPS worker sentenced to 2 years probation

Former Arizona CPS worker sentenced to 2 years probation

A former contract worker for Arizona's Child Protective Services Department was sentenced to 2 years probation on Wednesday for custodial interference.

Note: Did I read this right? A babystealer gets probation for returning the child to its parents?

cps needs to be shut down. az cps holding little children hostage. when is the governor going to see the faces of the child ripped from loving mothers.. god hep us all. another child ripped from single mom because of a dirty custody battle, child wants back in his home with mom--no one is listening to the child. the should not be allow to come in and take children unless the child is truly suffering. cps has to be stopped. return children to the mothers

Az CPS have held a little 6 year old hostage in a dependency case for 11 months. Perfect child and now they have to give the child counseling all because a dirty custody battle. When are the law makers in AZ going to wake up. This is not in the best interest of children to be ripped from Mothers who have raised them. Laws should be made to protect the Mothers and children and not allow CPS to come to your door and rip your kid from you without at least three other organizations saying the child is not happy or truly not taken care by the Mother but to rip a perfectly healthy child out of a Mother's bond is in sane and someone in power should do something now. CPS are messing with God and the bond of a Mother and child. The records should be open and accoutabily should be demanded that the CPS never takes a little child who is not showing signs of any neglect from a Mother. RETURN THE CHILDREN!!!It is wrong and CPS will pay one day for breaking strong bonds of Mother and child. AZ law makers..do something now!

AZ needs to control their CPS. Children are being ripped right out of their homes. The pain this is causing in the children is unbelievable. No one in their right mind takes a perfectly healthy child from a single Mom but the CPS in Arizona. Something has to be done. Go to your senators and your local papers. This is more than wrong.

As an aspiring social worker, this makes me sick. At least in MY state, CPS won't take a child unless there is PROOF their parents were abusing or neglecting them. It's just sick what I've seen parents get away with.

If the government takes away your children in my state, there's a REASON, and I'm sure Arizona is the same way! If you beat or molest your kids, you AT LEAST deserve jail, if not (in my opinion) death. Child abusers are great at denying that they deserve their consequences.
