Over the past few weeks, a Facebook campaign has inspired users to change their Facebook profile pictures to their favorite childhood cartoon to "fight against child abuse". But this surge of support was soon followed by a terrible rumor -- that the campaign was actually the work of a group of pedophiles using the images to hunt down children on Facebook. In reality, changing your profile picture on Facebook alone won't help abused kids or pedophiles. But there are some ways to effectively fight child abuse, exploitation, and trafficking online.
