Friend: Shooting Victim Found Happiness In Final Months
Anthony Ray died violently Saturday, not knowing that he was getting closer to his ultimate wish: To be adopted.
The 15-year-old was found dead inside the home of his foster family near 37th Street and Bedford Avenue. He had a gunshot wound to the head.
Anthony's real mother posted a comment on another blog. She's had 2 children die in foster care, and they won't even let her attend her son's funeral. She's not even mentioned in the article, just the vague reference to being taken for "abuse" and "neglect", which can mean anything they want it to mean.
