The Local Authority will delay giving you the paperwork for almost 2 years. They will even ask for time as there is so much of this.

  1. The Times, have taken up this cause, and PAIN had some case histories in an article last week.
In one of our cases, the Gentleman involved, had to wait 7 years, to receive his files.
I am dealing with a case, where a Mother requested a Pediatric Radiologist reports, and x rays, under section 7 of the Data Protection Act 1998,and was told that the Doctor would have to involve his legal department, on using one of PAINS draft data protection letters, and a lot of perseverance, she managed to get hold of the goods.
