Teen fights state to stay in foster care
Prepared to graduate this spring from Oldham County High School, Julian Tweedy is a shining success in the state's foster care system, according to the judge supervising his case.
"We don't get to see a success story very often, so that's what you represent for us,'' Jefferson Family Court Judge Dolly Wisman Berry told the youth at an August court hearing, noting his vastly improved grades and school attendance. "You keep up the good work!"
Note: I will repeat this line. "We don't get to see a success story very often, so that's what you represent for us" by Family Court Judge Dolly Wisman Berry
