Senate Panel To Consider Proposals To Boost Adoption And Fight Elderly Abuse
The Senate Finance Committee will consider legislative proposals meant to boost foster care and adoption and fight abuse of the elderly.
Committee Chairman Max Baucus (D-Mont.) said the panel has rescheduled its business meeting for Wednesday, September 10. It will consider three proposals, one to improve adoption incentive, one to help protect the elderly from abuse and one aimed at protecting patients from abuse.
