More kids in foster care system need homes
Note: Here's one of those recrutement articles designed to warm the hearts of the self-righteous, and sell children. I post it not only because the article is full of interesting facts about the Arizona Baby Market. This is flat out advertising of children.
In 10 years, AASK has placed more than 1,200 children in permanent homes.
Here's AASK's Website BTW.
there are 9,600 children in the Arizona foster care system, almost double the number from just four years ago.
less than 20 percent of them are adoptable
Every year around 500 children turn 18 and "age out" of the system without being adopted,
"They have no one to help them with basics like how to open a checking account, find a place to live," said Goldberg. "Without an adviser, about 70 percent of children fail, winding up in jail, becoming prostitutes, etc."
