Lawmakers to CPS: more changes to come
It’s been a challenging year for Arizona’s Child Protective Services, and it’s not over yet.
A few months ago, the CPS lost a battle to keep private some of its case files. Then the agency was hit with an audit that showed deficiencies in the way complaints had been handled. And now it’s bracing for another round of reforms aimed at requiring more accountability among contracted providers of in-home services.
