Suspect, Victim In Silver Spring Slaying Both From D.C. Foster Care
A 19-year-old Silver Spring woman accused in the stabbing death of a D.C. teen during a street fight Saturday is being held without bond.
Detectives said Sean Cope, 18, of Burbank Street in D.C., was found dead in the 1100 block of Fidler Lane about 10:40 p.m. Friday. Police had been called to the scene on reports of a fight involving about two dozen people.
I have a dear friend who is a foster parent and is one of the few that treats the children in her home the way they should be treated. Sadly, the system will only let children stay for a short time and it is on to the next who knows what.
ReplyDeleteI am not sure what the answer is but I know it needs to be addressed. It seems that the parents that are trying ..like Christians who want to home school rather than have their children shot in the halls, are threatened and prosecuted while violent ones even with a record are handed small children back often with deadly endings.
I also have a sister-in -law who grew up being passed through the system and she is going to be a long time in recovery.
I am glad that you are addressing this, I will share it with others
