Mother alleges CPS mishandled son
A local runaway who entered the county’s foster care system in 2008 is in trouble with the law again.
Travis Arnold, 17, was reported missing from his latest placement home in El Dorado Hills on Feb. 21. Child Protective Services officials filed the report with the sheriff’s office, according to Sheriff Fred Kollar. Arnold was located March 6, and Kollar said law enforcement has had two additional contacts with Arnold since then. On the 14th, deputies “tried to arrest him for some unrelated charges and he ran from us.”
