A Whitney Point man is accused of making 48 false reports to the New York State Child Abuse Hotline over a five-month span, according to state police.
Note: And forget about what the parents went through. Let's think about the kids here.
Each report required an immediate response and investigations by Broome County Child Protective Services, state police and the Broome County Sheriff’s Office. These investigations, mandated by the hotline reports, repeatedly exposed children to sensitive interviews and examinations, police said.
And there you see why filing false reports of child abuse is such a horrible thing, stated in a way that even a System Suck should be able to understand.
