Hatch introduces legislation to expand alternatives to traditional foster care
Utah Sen. Orrin Hatch is sponsoring federal legislation that would expand state programs that provide alternatives to traditional foster care.
The State Child Welfare Innovation Act, co-sponsored by Sen. Max Baucus, D-Mont., would build upon an existing program that enables states to seek waivers to use federal foster care money more flexibly to provide alternatives to traditional foster care placements.
Note: This is good news, I guess. The System Sucks still get their money, while keeping more families intact. Everybody is happy except for the parents with these little power tripping social workers up their asses.
