Teens receive makeovers, photos in hopes of finding foster families
Normally, a teenage girl might jump at the chance for a makeover and a $100 shopping spree, but 14-year-old Kandace was feeling rather ambivalent as she sat at the Dillard's makeup counter Tuesday.
Note: The Heart Gallery, the showroom floor of the adoption industry. Pretty them up, write a paragraph outlining their favorite things, and put them out there for the world to see. Alienate them from their parents, and pump them up with dreams of forever homes.
