Letters: Uprooted and forced into foster care
Recent events surrounding the court decision to send 2-year-old Vanessa Doss to foster care in another state, away from her adoptive mother, Stacey Doss, present a stark view of the real world of adoption ["Woman holds on to girl, hope," Front Page, July 3].
Where in the courtroom was the amicus curiae advocate for the innocent child? Why has a psychologist or otherwise qualified professional not been appointed to testify about the effects of these actions upon this little girl?
