I am a foster parent for Wyoming County Children and Youth in Pennsylvania. Recently I was contacted by the Director stating that several children in care would be going up for adoption. 2 of the children are in my care. We were just in court last month and the judge gave the parents a list of things that must be done for them to get their children back. The case is going back into court just a month later and Children and Youth are trying to change the goal to adoption and have the children moved to a pre adoptive home. What message does this send ? No matter what you do CPS is NOT going to return the children. The parents of the children have requested that their children remain with me. First C&Y said that it is their personal belief that the children should go to a couple who cannot have children of their own. When I sent a letter to Harrisburg now C&Y have changed their story saying due to unforeseen circumstances. There is nothing unforeseen. I, as the foster parent have no doubt that C&Y are doing something wrong. The childrens parents are trying to get their children back. I wish I knew of someone who could help them because I have no doubt this C&Y is corrupt.
