Continued Advocacy Efforts of the Michigan Federation
The Michigan Federation for Children and Families is working hard on behalf of its member agencies to advocate for the populations they serve in the middle of the budget discussions taking place at the State Capitol.
Note: Don't ask.
That's Michigan: a stupid person at the head of whatever they call that agency these days (didn't take the waiver Florida got even though they were approved as well: Florida has improved slightly but Michigan got worse). The agencies are probably looking to increase their pot of money while providing fewer services and getting more kids into their system. I haven't read the story yet but I'm guessing I'm right.
