Woman Works To Buy Headstone For Killed Foster Child
A local woman is raising money to buy a headstone for a 1-year old boy, killed in foster care.
Prosecutors said Chrisotpher Thomas was beaten for months by his foster mother, before he died in November.
While this is a most kind gesture on Becky Welk's part, perhaps CPS should start paying for the headstones of the innocent children that they help murder!

ReplyDeleteRecognition of an child's life, of the importance he/she has held as an individual and the sufferings he/she encountered must be addressed. Further, those who inflicted harm must be held accountable and punished. Circumstances and conditions which led to one child's death were reviewed and legislation Children's Services was amended word for word what the family provided to the Minister: Separation of Children with Disability from those individuals in need of protective services. And, yet, the Ministry has offered no personal response of gratitude towards offering the experiences that they survive nor recognition of the challenges the child faced which resulted in death. The Minister refused to comment further, but openly responded to media on air admitting the circumstances surrounding "S.M." have been altered so as to prevent repeat. To date, an individual - who so tragically succumbed far before their time and who provided such love and insight to others so as to hopefully prevent similar tragic event, remains unnamed. Without a marker to commemorate their time on earth and the importance for what they did for people with disability as well as their families. The child's life should be celebrated for its worth and not buried under a cloak of secrecy where he/she is known solely as initials in the media. He/she again, suffers systematic failure.
