Berks County detectives are flooded with calls from child abuse victims in the wake of the arrest and conviction of Jerry Sandusky and several recent high-profile local cases, including the one involving a former Gov. Mifflin High School water polo and swimming team coach.
IF law enforcement had ethical training, IF social service agencies weren't full of corruption and collusion, IF children services everywhere weren't already full of pedophiles and criminals, perhaps this would be a good idea. But as is, criminals lay in waiting for more children to fill their sinful households and group homes. Children are chattel today, nothing more.
