Fundraiser planned for Ventura house for women who leave foster care

“A lot of women when they leave the foster care system, they are just tossed out into the street,” said Laura D’Auri, McGrath’s daughter. “A lot of them turn to drugs. We are going to produce women who will be self-sufficient, who will make a difference in the community.”
