Woman who stored daughters' dead bodies in freezer set for sentencing
Renee Bowman, convicted in February of killing two of her adopted daughters and stuffing their bodies in a freezer, is in court Monday morning facing the potential of life in prison.
Note: Notice how they leave the word "adopted" out of the headline. Now why do you think they do that?
The reason media religiously will omit the descriptive of "foster" when mentioning the relationship is for legal reasons.
ReplyDeleteIt is the responsibility of the state to provide oversight, particularly, provide for the best interests of the child.
And besides, child abuse and neglect propaganda month is going to kick off in a few short days. The child welfare industry does not like bad publicity. It just might have to take some Targeted Case Management money and hire a big Public Relations firm.
