I am glad I found this link. I am a former Cuba resident from 1991 to 1999. There is much I could tell you about the protection of children in Cuba, but to make it short I will tell you this: Anyone causing harm to a child in Cuba can expect to either spend the rest of his/her life in jail, or face the firing squad. This explains why there is no such thing as child abuse, rape, or murder of kids in Cuba. If you want more details write to: argiz@europe.com
