Dead child's caseworker remains on the job
A Fulton County child welfare caseworker assigned to the case of a 16-month-old girl who died last month hasn't been fired.
Reached by phone Saturday, Shonda Trice refused to discuss the Fulton County Division of Family and Children Services' actions in the case that ended with young Amiya Brown's death.
"I can't talk about the case," Trice said.
But when asked whether commenting to a reporter would affect her job, she said, "Yes."
