Lesser charge for dog-owning judge
A Newcastle Crown Court judge charged with failing to keep proper control of her dog will be prosecuted for a less serious offence, a court has heard.
Judge Beatrice Bolton, 57, from Rothbury, Northumberland, was not at Carlisle Magistrates' Court for the brief hearing.
