Seth Ireland Death Stirs Up Concerns at CPS, Breaking Point Near?

CPS officials say they're making changes with the staff they have now, to keep children, like Ireland from losing their lives at the hands of an abuser.

Tonight, its director is concerned, that the system as it stands right now, may soon reach a breaking point.

Monday night, Catherine Huerta, Director of Fresno's Child Protective Services, described the intense stress she, her social workers and staff were experiencing around the time, 10-year-old Seth Ireland was severely beaten, was taken to the hospital, and died from his injuries 8 days later.
